A Platform for Truth and Accountability in Kerala

A Platform for Truth and Accountability in Kerala

ABOUT US

Mission: To show Keralites (Malayalis) how Kerala really works through stories that rock Kerala; forcing positive change.

Vision: We expose wrongdoing so that Kerala can make it right.

KeralaExpose.org is a PLATFORM FOR TRUTH AND ACCOUNTABILITY in Kerala wherein we will courageously investigate and expose real incidents (stories) which traditional media for various reasons refuse to expose. We are an independent group of journalists, lawyers and activists who will challenge the status quo in journalism and reporting in Kerala. We will ask tough questions which most media and journalists dare not to ask. KeralaExpose.org is about incisive reporting, unafraid investigative journalism, and the spine to raise questions which Kerala Society needs to get answers of.

KeralaExpose.org is inspired by the work of “The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists” (ICIJ) founded in 1997 by American journalist Charles ‘Chuck’ Lewis which was launched as a project of the “Center for Public Integrity”. Under that stewardship, ICIJ investigated issues that didn’t stop at national frontiers, including cross-border crime, corruption and holding the powerful across the globe to account. Similarly, KeralaExpose.org will not stop at national frontiers or state borders, including cross-border crime, corruption and holding the illegitimately rich, powerful and corrupt in Kerala and amongst the Keralites (Malayalis) to account. We clarify that we have nothing against the legitimately rich and legitimately powerful doing the right things, working the right way and earning legitimate income, wealth and power. In fact, we applaud them for doing things the right way despite the challenges they face in their lives.

To extend our reach and impact, KeralaExpose.org is sworn to secrecy and confidentiality to the extent that one journalist, one lawyer or one activist in our network may not know another journalist, another lawyer or another activist who may even be working shoulder to shoulder in their regular jobs. We are designed and structured in this manner to ensure the integrity of KeralaExpose.org. A seven member Committee governs Kerala Expose.org three roles – 1. The Fiduciary Role of a traditional Board of Directors; The Journalism Integrity Role of a traditional Editorial Board; and 3. Network Committee which serves as the ongoing Screening Committee to admit and discipline the journalist / lawyer / activist membership of KeralaExpose.org

KeralaExpose.org is funded by a group of high integrity Keralites (Malayalis) who are fed up with the corruption, cheating, fraud, communalisation, disharmony, social inequality etc. which is the present day Kerala. However, the funders do not have any say or control over the investigations being carried on by KeralaExpose.org, the reports which are to be published and over content or editorial of the reports. And to ensure that KeralaExpose.org is not ever pressured by any authority in Kerala / India, KeralaExpose.org is set up organizationally in a jurisdiction which is out of reach of Kerala / Indian Authorities and or the Kerala Rich and Powerful, both legitimate and illegitimate.

Considering KeralaExpose.org will be exposing the rich, powerful, and mighty, we intend to and will be remaining in the background without exposing our journalist / lawyer / activist network in the public domain.

If anyone has any genuine concerns about any of our reports or social media posts, you may raise a complaint with appropriate defence, and we will correct ourselves if we are in the wrong. We have no ego, we have no personal interests, we have no conflict of interest. If we are wrong despite our deep investigations and intense research, we will own up to our mistakes and publicly apologise for any mistake on our part.

We, KeralaExpose.org also call upon Keralites (Malayalis) to share with us evidence of corruption and wrongdoings which the illegitimately rich and illegitimately powerful have succeeded in hiding from the Kerala Society and the arms of law. We assure you that your inputs will be retained with the fullest confidence and secrecy and if found to be true post our investigation and research, we will expose such illegal acts, wrongdoings, corruption and criminal acts to the public, media and authorities in Kerala.

We will be releasing our first investigative report on one of the biggest scams in Kerala starting on 02.10.2025

Await our first expose!
